Scholarships
New York University Federal Credit Union's Scholarship Program has been established to recognize, reward and help make possible the pursuit of higher education by NYU FCU members. ​

We will be awarding three $1,000 scholarships for the Fall 2026 academic year.

Eligibility
​

Eligibility is open to all NYU FCU members in good standing (excluding NYU FCU employees, Directors, Committee Members and their immediate families)

The applicant must be attending an accredited 2 or 4 year college, university, or other institution of higher learning during the Fall semester on a full-time basis

Scholarship funds must be used by January 31, 2027 on tuition, room and board, books, school supplies, etc.

The deadline to submit is September 15, 2026 at 11:59pm EST.​
Application Process​

To apply, eligible members will need the following:

A completed and signed application and Certification & Release Authorization

If the applicant is under 18 years of age, the applicant’s parent or legal guardian must sign the Parent/Guardian Affidavit linked here

Copy of school transcript documenting GPA for grades 9-12

Copy of SAT/PSAT/ACT transcript

Video Submission​​
​
Applicants must create a video about a financial topic of their choice and post it publicly on Instagram or YouTube. Submissions will be evaluated based on authenticity, sincerity, and creativity. The video must be posted from the applicant’s own account and must tag NYU FCU (Instagram: @nyufcu / YouTube: @nyufederalcreditunion).
Selection Process​

All eligible applications and videos will be evaluated by the NYU FCU Scholarship Selection Committee. Three $1,000 scholarship recipients will be selected and notified prior to the 2026 NYU FCU Annual Meeting on September 22, 2026.
