
Everything You Need to Know About Your New Card.
Start Using Your New Card on July 29
We're updating debit and credit cards for all NYU FCU members. Review the information below to get your new card activated and ready to use.
IMPORTANT:

Please make sure your contact information on file with NYU FCU is up to date, and notify us of any address changes as soon as possible to ensure your new debit or credit card is delivered to the correct location.

Members with no card activity for a period exceeding 12 months are ineligible for automatic card renewal. If your card has been inactive for one year or more and you require a new NYU FCU debit or credit card, please reach out to us to initiate a manual order.
What Changed?
Your Card Number, Expiration Date, PIN (if you currently use one) & Security Code.
On or Before July 29, 2026:
Activate Your New Card:

Call the phone number listed on your new card and set up a new PIN.

You must call from the phone number you have on file with NYU Federal Credit Union.

The PIN you are currently using will NOT automatically work with your new card, you must call to activate the card AND select a PIN before using.

Update Automatic Payments:

If you have reoccurring charges (utilities, subscriptions, etc.) paid with your card, notify those companies with your new card information.
On July 29, 2026:
Begin Using Your New Card:
Your current card will deactivate on July 29, 2026, and you can begin using your new contactless card.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT DISPOSE OF YOUR CURRENT CARD UNTIL JULY 29, 2026.
YOUR NEW CARD WILL NOT WORK BEFORE JULY 29, 2026.
